Isaac Asare: Ghana Country Manager
Issaac Kwadwo Asare brings over 12 years of private and public sector experience, more specifically in developing the agro-input supply chain. Prior to joining AFAP, Isaac worked for the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA) as the Ghana Country Coordinator under the Scaling Seeds and Technologies Partnership (SSTP) programme.
As an Agro-dealer Development Specialist, he has worked in countries such as Ghana, Nigeria and Liberia for the International Fertilizer Development Centre (IFDC).He was the Project Manager for the AGRA-funded project, Ghana Agro Dealer Development (GADD) Project.
Isaac has extensive knowledge in managing donor-funded programs as well as handling M&E related activities, networking with value chain actors and experience in agro-dealer development issues more specifically in West Africa. Isaac is passionate about the use of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) as a tool to link value chain actors with the aim of improving access to quality services through enhanced flow of information among them.
He holds Masters of Philosophy in Sociology and Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Technology.
As the AFAP Ghana country manager he provides strategic input, direction and management to AFAP and its key partners on fertilizer industry development issues.
