As a Senior Program Officer for Soil Fertility and Fertilizer Systems at the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA), Asseta is a seasoned expert in value chain development, agribusiness, and fertilizer systems, as well as policy related to inputs. With years of experience in non-profit organization management, Asseta has a proven track record in strategic planning, research, and project management.
Asseta earned a PhD in Development Economics and International Development from the University of Ouagadougou, and has applied this expertise to develop and implement innovative programs and policies aimed at addressing the challenges facing African farmers. Through Asseta’s leadership, AGRA has made significant progress in improving soil fertility and promoting sustainable agriculture practices across the continent.
