Nana-Aisha Mohammed
Nana-Aisha Mohammed is a development professional with over 10 years of experience in various fields including agriculture, education, health, and social development. Currently serving as the Country Manager and Project Implementation lead for West Africa at the African Fertilizer and Agribusiness Partnership (AFAP), Nana-Aisha brings a wealth of theoretical and practical knowledge to her role.
Her expertise lies in budget and policy analysis, project management, monitoring and evaluation, research and advocacy, and activity coordination. She has worked with organizations like SEND West Africa, USAID, OXFAM, Trust Africa, and IBP, leading the implementation of projects and programs. She has served as the civil society lead on the Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme (CAADP) Non-State Actors platform for three years.
Nana-Aisha has provided technical support to governments, civil society, and SMEs in West African countries like Liberia, Sierra Leone, Burkina Faso, Mali, and Nigeria. She has been a resource person on various platforms, especially in the agricultural sector, and has facilitated training for SMEs, input and output dealers, farmers, and other actors along the agricultural value chain.
She is an IFC certified trainer and Project Management Professional, holding a Master of Science Research in Migration and Refugee Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Development Studies. Her well-rounded educational background and diverse experience have equipped her with a deep understanding of both business and social interventions.
