James Mutonyi

Kenya Country Director

James Mutonyi, a Rural Development expert and Agricultural Specialist with over 20 years of experience, has been appointed as the Country Manager at Kenya.

With extensive experience in enterprise development in Africa, he has worked with government institutions, private Agricultural Input supply companies, and local development institutions on food production and smallholder agricultural development. James previously held the position of Managing Director of the Agricultural Market Development Trust (AGMARK) in Kenya, Mozambique, and South Sudan. James has also executed numerous projects with IFAD, AGRA, USAID WFP, FAO, and COMESA.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree Economics from the University of Nairobi and a Diploma in Management from the University of Galilee.
