
Wilfrida Onono
Wilfrida Onono is a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Specialist at African Fertilizer and Agribusiness partnership (AFAP) bringing 11+ years’ experience in Agricultural Development working with SMEs dealing in the Agricultural Inputs, smallholder farmers and pastoralists in various countries in Africa.
Wilfrida started her career at Agricultural Market Development Trust (AGMARK) as a data management intern, where she rose to positions of Project coordinator and then M&E before joining AFAP. She has knowledge in establishing and implementing planning, monitoring, evaluation, collaboration and learning systems and tools for Immuno/projects, Identifying and using approved indicators and targets, to measure progress and make recommendations for improvement.
She is involved in building the capacity of the staff involved in monitoring, evaluation, and data collection, include initiating, organizing, participating in, and/or conducting training sessions and evaluation workshop, developing performance management plans, Work plans, Project reports, data collection tools, conduct analysis of data , including GIS mapping, analytical reports and success.
Supports the implementation of baseline and other surveys, such as project reviews, mid-term and end-of-project reviews. She has completed intensive training workshops in 1) Environmental Compliance and Environmentally Sound design and management in project implementation by USAID 2) Geographic Information system (GIS) for Agricultural Monitoring and Evaluation 3) Data Management using MS Access at ILRI 4) Certificate in Monitoring and Evaluation.
She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Project Planning and management. Holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Horticulture and certificate in monitoring and evaluation.
