Members of the AFAP Executive Committee travelled to the USA to meet with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF), the organization’s primary funders, to discuss ongoing projects and the organization’s future direction.

During the week, the team had productive and constructive discussions with BMGF, culminating in a group photo with the foundation’s team. While the week presented its challenges, it proved to be immensely beneficial. As the team prepares to return to their respective homes, they carry with them valuable insights and strengthened partnerships for the work ahead.
