NAIROBI, KENYA – As of May 2025, AFAP Kenya has established 103 demonstration plots focused on maize, beans, potatoes, and sorghum. Each plot promotes best practices in fertilizer application—emphasizing the right source, timing, rate, and placement—to improve fertilizer use efficiency and support sustainable food production.

The demonstration sites are linked to approved hub agro-dealers, making it easier for farmers to access the recommended inputs. This approach supports knowledge sharing, encourages adoption of efficient techniques, and helps maintain soil health across key farming regions.
