NAIROBI, KENYA – Following the official declaration of the Long Rains season by the Kenyan Government, AFAP Kenya has initiated the planting of multiple crop demonstration plots in key agricultural regions. This initiative aims to establish practical learning sites for farmers right at the beginning of Kenya’s primary cropping season.

The Long Rains are fundamentally important to Kenya’s agricultural output and food security. AFAP Kenya’s demonstration plots are designed to help farmers optimize their efforts during this period by showcasing best-fit crop varieties, appropriate soil fertility management, planting techniques, and other relevant agronomic practices tailored for the season’s conditions.
