Sheila Keino, Vice President of Development Cooperation at AFAP, recently represented the organization at the International Food and Agribusiness Management Association (IFAMA) 2024 Conference in Almeria, Spain. Sheila participated in a panel discussion themed “Sustainable Models for Smallholder Farming,” alongside representatives from Bayer Malawi.

Before her current role at AFAP Kenya, Sheila served as the Country Manager for Malawi. During the panel, she brought extensive knowledge and experience in smallholder farmer development and support, with a particular focus on empowering women in agriculture. Sheila’s insights and expertise made a significant impact during the panel, highlighting AFAP’s commitment to sustainable agricultural practices and the development of smallholder farmers.
