As AFAP, we plan to create long-term, sustainable partnerships to increase access to resources, knowledge and capital for African farmers and communities. The existing strategy involves the further development of our network of agribusiness and financial actors in African agriculture. This effort will continue to generate investments, create jobs and spur economic growth.

This year, we will remain focused on training and developing agro-input dealers in our Hub-and-Spoke network as well as connecting African farmers with necessary resources and technology. We will also work to improve access to finance (by increasing our credit guarantee initiative), facilitate partnerships between African businesses and international companies, develop public-private initiatives for farmers, and promote sustainable agriculture.

We are committed to supporting African farmers in taking control of their own agricultural activities, improving yields, and increasing their income. AFAP will continue to develop innovative strategies to help African farmers find access to markets and increase their bargaining power.
