MOU Signed with Western Cape Province
AFAP South Africa has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Western Cape Province, creating a comprehensive framework for collaboration aimed at enhancing agricultural productivity. This MOU outlines approaches for evaluating outcomes and impacts of joint initiatives, establishing a clear path for effective partnership.
A key focus of the agreement is to address the challenges smallholder farmers face in accessing agricultural inputs, particularly fertilizers. By strengthening this aspect, the MOU aims to provide a solid foundation for improving agricultural practices and supporting the livelihoods of farmers in the Western Cape Province. Through this collaboration, AFAP and the Western Cape government are committed to fostering sustainable agricultural development and ensuring better access to essential resources for smallholder farmers
