The African Fertilizer and Agribusiness Partnership (AFAP) is very active in Uganda. The organization focuses on providing access to quality inputs, such as fertilizers, seeds, and other agro-inputs, to smallholder farmers. AFAP’s work in the country also includes facilitating the increase in access to finance and markets for smallholder farmers, as well as provide technical assistance and training to help them increase their yields and incomes.
In addition, AFAP works with the government of Uganda to develop policies and regulations that will help to improve the agricultural sector.
