The AFAP Kenya office was officially established in 2023. This was backed by a large contingent of AFAP senior and strategic staff that had been for years operating out of Kenya. The decision to establish an office in Kenya is strategic, as the country serves as a hub for East Africa and provides a conducive environment for the organization’s operations in the region.  

The office is staffed with professionals who have extensive experience working in the agriculture sector, and they work closely with other AFAP offices across the continent to achieve the organization’s goals. Additionally, the Kenya office serves as a base for exploring opportunities in the country and the region, and it enables AFAP to establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, private sector players, and development partners.
