The African Fertilizer and Agribusiness Partnership (AFAP) has been active in Malawi since 2016. AFAP has worked to increase access to fertilizer and other inputs, improve the quality of inputs, and increase the availability of agronomic advice. AFAP has also provided training and capacity building to farmers and agribusinesses, and has supported the development of agribusinesses in the country. 

AFAP’s work in Malawi has helped to address some of these challenges. Through its activities, AFAP has helped to increase access to inputs, improve the quality of inputs, and increase the availability of agronomic advice. As a result, the sector has seen increased productivity and improved incomes for farmers.
